Canadian autonomy, with a flight record.
Skyscouter is building Canadian sovereign capability in autonomous flight, with a long-range hybrid UAV and an autonomous counter-UAS interceptor, designed and manufactured in British Columbia.

Why now
Three shifts behind the opportunity.
The threat is here
Small drones now threaten military sites, airports, stadiums and critical infrastructure. Most defences either jam radio signals, which an autonomous drone can ignore, or destroy the target, which sends debris onto whatever is below.
Sovereignty matters
Canada’s IDEaS program considers Canadian content when it evaluates innovators. Skyscouter designs and manufactures in British Columbia, with Canadian expertise behind both platforms.
The rules are opening
Since November 4, 2025, Transport Canada allows eligible lower-risk BVLOS flights without a Special Flight Operations Certificate, opening a clearer path for long-range commercial operations.
Why Skyscouter
From prototype to two active DND program selections.

Tested in the field
AI-Scout captured a target drone in flight in August 2026 and was demonstrated at the DND IDEaS Counter-UAS Sandbox that September, built on more than 1,500 flight hours of commercial missions.
Two markets, one technology base
Scouter serves commercial and government long-range missions. AI-Scout addresses the counter-drone need, with FirstScout planned for fire and police services. Autonomy, machine vision and airframe know-how carry across all of them.
Vertically integrated
In-house machining, 3D printing, PCB assembly and flight test shorten the path from design change to flying hardware.
Autonomy in-house
A dedicated machine vision team builds the detection, classification and tracking models that run on board.
100% Canadian
