SkyScouter has been selected by Canada’s Department of National Defence (DND) to showcase its technology at the Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (CUAS) Sandbox 2026 in Suffield, Alberta. The CUAS Sandbox is part of DND’s Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program. It is designed to test advanced technologies in realistic operational settings and help identify solutions that can support Canadian defence and security needs.
The 2026 event will take place from September 14 to October 9, 2026. During the Sandbox, selected innovators will have the opportunity to demonstrate their technologies and receive direct feedback from Canadian Armed Forces personnel, RCMP representatives, U.S. Government partners, and defence science experts.
